Greetings Loyola Families,
This is Dr. Smith with your weekly updates.

Let’s continue to encourage our Students to share their vision for their lives as it pertains to being College and Career Ready. All students should begin mapping out the plan for their lives.
Also this is Digital Citizenship month. We are focusing this week on defining Cyber bullying. Please remind your child to be A Buddy and not a Bully.

Upcoming Events for this week

Tuesday October 23th - Navigating through Magnet Schools and Schools of Choice workshop at 8:30am in the Auditorium
Tuesday October 23th – Magnet Tour 9:00am We welcome all prospective families to join us.

Wednesday October 31st –1:30pm – Harvest Festival Parade. Students may bring their costumes to school or wear them on the bus. Please refer to the flyer for requirements if choosing to wear costume on the bus. Please no scary costumes or clown costumes. 2:33pm – School is dismissed.

If you are unsure of the Magnet School System and have questions about navigating through the LAUSD Magnet schools please consider contacting Ms. Jones our Magnet Coordinator at Loyola Village or you may speak to me as well. Understanding how to navigate through the Magnet system will allow you to make an informed decision regarding your child’s education.
Every Monday is School Spirit Wear day, Tuesday dismissal is 1:33pm,every Wednesday look in your child’s notebook for any School to Home Correspondence and every Friday is College Awareness day. That’s all for now. Have a Fabulous Week!
