Welcome back to School! I truly hope your 3-week winter recess was filled with love and happiness. We had an amazing close to our 2019-year and I know we will have a wonderful start to 2020.
Here are a few announcements for the upcoming weeks:
This week our students will participate in our monthly review of our Behavior Expectations and Loyola Village Values. Please review with your student the Village Values.
Our Major Fundraiser for the year is coming soon. The ROCK ROLL AND RUN 5K will be held on Saturday March 14th . We need your support and your participation. Registration for the 5K will open shortly. Forms will go home this week, with the registration details. We need your support!! Each participant is $30. Please reach out to your friends and family to come and participate and help raise funds for our school.

Monday January 20th school will be closed as we honor and celebrate Martin Luther King’s birthday.

Every Monday is School Spirit Day, Tuesday dismissal is 1:33pm, every Wednesday look in your child’s notebook for any School to Home Correspondence and every Friday is College Awareness Day. That’s all for now. Have a Fabulous Week!
PARENT PORTAL: The LAUSD Parent Portal is where you can access ALL of your student’s information including: report card grades, bus stop assignments and times, SBA scores, edit Emergency Card information, and more! Simply go to parentportalapp.lausd.net/parentaccess and register for an account! Contact the office if you do not have your Personal Parent PIN number for the registration process.
Parents, please note that students can access our web based curriculum from home using a digital device! Take advantage of the list of sites below to maintain your student’s learning and progress during breaks and weekends!

You can access Smarter Balanced practice tests online where you and your child can preview and practice the types of questions they will see on the State Test. To access the practice tests, go to www.Smarterbalanced.org → Click Assessments Tab → View Practice and Training Tests and Sample Questions.
